This is what two (out of 7 positive) reviewers said about the new Bombay Bicycle club album. I don't like sounding like a music snob, but I wish the "music producer" (who is so knowledgeable about good music he has to put that next to his name) and this other guy would stick to their mass produced hip hop rappers and desperate girly "artists" and not even bother listening to something out of their musical intellect. I don't like arguing with people online, so I'll just stick to this method.




That being said, I love Bombay Bicycle Club and can't wait to get this album.

I've been pretty inspiration free lately..so for now Phantogram is my muse. It makes me want to dance, get lost, and write an essay about abstract subjects all at the same time.

Oh, and a big P.S. I wore my new Jeffery Campbell shoes last week and they murdered my feet. I had blisters from my toes to my ankles. The only thing I had to clean my blisters (which opened from how much the leather was rubbing my skin, gross, sorry), was rubbing alcohol. That hurt, really, really, bad. No, I didn't take pictures, but I did find out how to fix my shoes. My boyfriend's mom told me this secret: rub lotion into the parts of the shoe that rub. Guess what? It worked. I've been wearing my shoes around all day to make sure they're safe enough to wear to the airport tomorrow. So far so good. I thought that would be a good uncomfortable shoe tip to pass on.

Orlando Magic

It's so cool to see talented people do what they're made to do. This is a local band in my city, and I have the pleasure of knowing one of them. They have a show Friday at Backbooth, which I unfortunately, won't be able to go to. I'm leaving for Texas tomorrow morning. I'll try to document some of it. But for now, here's this:

i tried taking pictures of my re-vamped hair..but the lighting wasnt too great and my brother was getting in the way. It's a little darker than last time with red tones instead of my natural light brown.

These are the $114 dollar Jeffrey Campbell shoes I got for $77. I got them to replace my Dolce Vita flats which have gotten gross over the year I've had them (I found out that synthetic starts to smell after a while). So, I think it's worth it. Plus Campbell puts padding in his shoes so all of them, even the crazy heeled styles, are comfortable. I have my eye on another pair of JC shoes, but those are going to have to wait for a long while.
